Every fall the Potters' Guild of Hamilton and Region puts on a pottery sale with over 100 potters participating. It takes place in Dundas at 10 Market St S and runs for three days the first month of November. That weekend is here!
This event is a great place to kick off your Christmas shopping - there is an incredible variety of work, so there really is something for everyone. Plus, at the sale you can help donate to Hamilton Food Share by purchasing an "Empty Bowl". The proceeds from these bowls (at $25 each) goes directly to Hamilton Food Share, a program that helps get fresh food to the over 12,000 food bank users across the city. This is a wonderful cause, and directly impacts our community. Last year, the Empty Bowls raised over $19,000 for Food Share, and we're hoping to surpass that number this year.
