Surface and Form - Mohawk College, Stoney Creek

Focus on explorations in surface and form. Practice a variety of decorative treatments from basic slip work and carving, inlay and relief designs, to image transfers, resists and post-firing applications. Discuss the relationship between form and surface, work to develop objects that have been intentionally designed from beginning to end. Find your creative voice and create a cohesive collection of work. Workshop is suitable for all levels, though basic forming skills are an asset.
Sipping and Pouring Vessels - My Studio

With a focus on handles, spouts and utility, this semi private weekend course will help you grow in your development of form - to design and make tableware that functions as intended. Pitchers, mugs, teapots, bottles - we will explore a wide range of shapes and utilities, and work towards crafting objects that are pleasing to hold and use.
Basic throwing or hand building skills necessary. Not suitable for beginners.
